This is where you can apply to the RAWR linkshell or Free company.

We've been around as a Final Fantasy XIV Free Company since the game launched. The original members have all known each other for a long time from different games and real life, but don't let that intimidate you; we're very open to new people who are as passionate about the game as us.

The linkshell is a place where anybody can try to find people for any kind of content. There's few requirements for joining and nothing is mandatory. You'll be welcome to join the Free Company's Mumble server when members are doing things together. Since a player can hold eight linkshells, there's really no downside to joining the linkshell.

The Free Company is a bit more restrictive. We want people who want to put in the effort to progress through the most difficult content in the game. We have a few nights of scheduled events each week, though nothing is mandatory.

The people who last in the Free Company usually have a certain mindset. You should be willing to put in the time to progress not only your own character, but the characters of the other members of the Free Company. There's copious amounts of lighthearted banter during events, so you need to not be able to take jokes too seriously. Some people take longer to learn fights than others, so have some patience.

The linkshell is great if you already have a Free Company, but want another pool of people from which to draw for various encounters. It's also great if you want to give RAWR's style a test drive; moving from the linkshell to the Free Company is pretty easy, especially since we'll be familiar with you. The Free Company is for people who want a solid group that gets things done.
